Kultivate Magazine (Kultivate) will hold a fundraiser in support of Homes For Our Troops. This event will feature live performers, dj parties, a special flag hunt, and an art auction with proceeds going to Homes for Our Troops (HFOT). Homes For Our Troops is a charity that supports veterans by providing resources that can help veterans rebuild their lives after military deployments and war. The fundraiser will take place July 1 to 4, 2017.

Support Feed A Smile at Nautical Smile in Second Life | Inara Pey: Living in a Modem World

Nautical Smile is a special event being held at Holly Kai Park in aid of Feed A Smile / Live and Learn Kenya.

The event marks the first major fund-raiser to be held for Feed A Smile at Holly Kai Park, which was adopted as the park’s new charity in February 2017.

Organised and hosted by Rossini Events, Nautical Smile will take place at The Pavilion, Holly Kai Park, and will feature 10 hours of music starting at 11:00 SLT, and finishing at 21:00 SLT, with one hour sets from some of Second Life’s top DJs, and live performers.The live performances at Nautical Smile will include a “double Dutch” back-to-back paring of singers from the Netherlands, Thera D and Hedy Patrucci-Collazo, who will be appearing at 12:00 noon and 1:00pm respectively. They’ll be followed by Akilikos Singer at 2:00pm, and Sal  from 3:00pm. The entire event is sponsored by Meerkats Estates….

The MadPea International Food Fair in Second Life | Inara Pey: Living in a Modem World

Now open through until Saturday, March 4th, 2017 is the MadPea International Food Fair, in aid of Live and Learn Kenya (LLK) / Feed a Smile. Featuring shopping, music via live performances and DJ and an art exhibition, the Food Fair has a very worthwhile cause in mind: to raise  L$9,879,000 (US $37,000) to fund the construction of a kitchen for impoverished school children in the Rhonda Slums of Nakuru, Kenya.

#UnitedAndKind Fundraiser in Second Life – StrawberrySingh.com

#UnitedAndKind is a new fundraiser that has started today in Second Life and will run till December 11th, this is the SLurl to the event. It was organized by Octagons Yazimoto and Skye Everidge, who also organized the Pulse Fundraiser back in July. 100% of the proceeds from the fundraiser will be equally split amongst the following four organizations:

Color of Change – the nation’s largest online racial justice organization.

Planned Parenthood – provides opportunities for proper healthcare and education to thousands of women across the nation.

Naseeha – provides a confidential youth helpline for young Muslims to receive immediate, anonymous, and confidential support.

The Trevor Project – provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth.
