Kara Trapdoor is a prolific blogger at Kara’s Korner, Second Life Adventures and has been a regular contributor to several other blogs. She has a SL journalism history writing and photographing events and society with The BOSL magazine, as co-owner, editor, writer, and photographer for The Giano Journal, freelance for Retropolitan magazine, and she currently also contributes to Showtime magazine. Kara enjoys a variety of activities in Second Life such as making machinima, recreational photography along her extensive exploration travels, and has years of experience with cheerleading in Second Life, Kara has been co-owner of a Wedding sim and The Trap Club, developed several major Halloween haunted house sims and a variety of other public recreational sim areas and has organized and hosted numerous events,. She has curated several art galleries including The Skywalk Gallery at The Station, A Flickr in Time Gallery, Holiday Dreams Gallery, and has contributed pieces to various other shows upon request. In her free time she enjoys live music, shopping, gaming, helping new residents, clubbing, and most of all socializing in Second Life.
