This is the first of a series of posts, mostly of photos, about my visit to Summer of Art 2015 on the Metropolis Metaversum grid. I happen to have a Metropolis account from when I was exploring opensim early this year. The last Summer of Arts was held in 2012; I’ve been looking forward to visiting since I first read of this event months ago.

It sounds fairly easy to hypergrid in from other opensim grids. There is an official website which I didn’t find easy to navigate. The most helpful information for me was on this blog post, which I recommend reading if you’re planning to visit.

There is a lot to see and I took quick snapshots, which of course is no substitute for actually visiting. ( I saw nothing indicating photography isn’t allowed and will delete pictures if there’s a complaint.) There are parties, live acts…
