Eiffelicious : Capricious Talent

“Lost inside… Adorable illusion and I cannot hide”    from Blonde’s  ‘Heart of Glass’

The first time I went to visit LEA 7 Eiffelicious , my sound was muted when I landed. I noticed that flying was permitted so I flew to the Tip Top of the Eiffel tower. Standing there I panned around to soak in some of the grandeur of this Eiffelicious place. The snow flakes gently falling and the purple hues of the sky is a calming respite.   It is hard to believe that this tower [irl] was built only as a temporary fixture in Paris 1889. Here a delectable Eiffelicious tower resides in a huge snow globe. This entire installation was built by one person, artist and fashionista Regi Yifu.

As I turn on the sound, my speakers are filled with the pumping dance music that is part of Regi’s music stream. When I began listening it was an excellent remix of Blonde’s song ‘Heart of Glass’. Clicking on one of the circles at the Tip Top, I was rewarded with a “snow flake dancer”. When I put this on, I began dancing in a seductive rhythm with the music.  As I learn through the exhibit, our artist is a creative and talented force with both animations and gestures.  When it was time to move around a bit, I clicked on the teleport to see what other visual and audio treats were in store for me.

I began this visit with a taste of visual treat, then was awakened to his musical charisma and animation expertise, now looking at the teleport device I knew the artistic wonders would continue as I explored the entire installation.  The teleport device you wonder? It looks much like a space ship that you step into, and indeed after your ride the device it compresses to a small disk shaped space machine and hovers as if to give you a second look at the beauty and whim of it. I marveled with this little device as I explored each level.  There are several levels, the teleport device takes you to the ground level, levels 3 and 4 as well as the gallery.

Arriving in the gallery, I am standing by a large ornately decorated picture of the Eiffel tower containing details of Regi’s photo contest as well as recommendations for viewing the gallery.  What a treat we are given in this package to use in the gallery. Set your Windlight to Ambient Dark and your meters to pizzazz and watch the fun. With the items in the folder given to you can “see” yourself in the dark. If you collide with the signs you see red, green and blue images which combine to make a full color image. In this interactive light gallery, our artist not only plays with light, he does so in vivid colors allowing each of us to be part of it. This was so much fun. In the center of the gallery is a hologram picture of DJ Regi rotating and displaying these same colors.

There is more light pulsing and moving around the circular gallery. Streams of the colors of the prism flow through the air around the outer hallway. There are ten images inside the circle of the Eiffel tower build, many from the ground up sporting a spectacular long lensed view. Others caption different angles of the spotlight on the Tip Top as it moves through the exhibit. A hot air balloon floats above to one side as a delicious visual detail to add depth of field and color.  There is space for ten additional images to be put outside of the interior circle and another seventeen from the contest for the outside wall.  This gallery has the interactive lighting as well as images from visitors.

I returned to the ground floor to work my way up and through the levels.  The ground floor has water treatments on each side along with benches and soft looking snow around.  There is a unisex synchronized dance ball in the center and our artist shared with me that around 90 people were here to celebrate the New Year.  Looking around it seems like the perfect event venue with it’s romance and spaciousness.  If you think runway when you stroll through you aren’t too far off the mark.  Before this tower came to reside in the gigantic globe it was an idea for a runway show.

Level 2 is a beautiful place for a romantic rest with someone

4-Screen Shot 2016-01-19 at 2.09.35 PM.jpg special.  The benches are placed far away from each other with gatherings of pigeons here and there.  Every detail is worth a second look, these pigeons are not copied from other SIMs, these are detailed realistic pigeons. Bring some bread crumbs to feed these birds.

Moving to Levels 3 and 4; these are both are observational levels with great detail that make one very different from the other. As we move up the tower to Level 3, the walkway is a direct route around the tower.  Level 4 being further from the ground, has a safety fence around the floor to keep viewers from toppling over the side.  On each level, scan the horizon from each side, look at how the spot light in the tower refracts with each turn and look down.

Effielicious is an infectious, ambitious, capricious and will provide you with a auspicious outing and many delights.  Artfully yours, Seersha Heart
