Artists can apply for a residency at the home of the world’s largest particle collider – Quartz

The home of the world’s largest particle accelerator is inviting artists to Geneva to “reflect upon encounters between art and science.”

The European Organization for Nuclear Research, commonly known as CERN, is offering a three-month residency called the COLLIDE International Award. The winning artist gets a 15,000 Swiss franc ($15,500) cash prize and will be hosted for two months at CERN and one month at the UK’s Foundation for Art and Creative Technology in Liverpool…
