Imagine a show that has suspense, drama, and the supernatural all rolled into one, with the look of a film noir thrown in. Imagine a show that has a hint of Dr. Who, steampunk, and shades of the experiments of inventor Nikola Tesla thrown in. What is this show you are probably asking? It is The Blackened Mirror, a show that is not to be missed.
I had heard vaguely of The Blackened Mirror from a good friend of mine and decided to check it out myself. The show is a Second Life machimina at it’s best and features some well known Second Life and real life personalities in the form of Scott Simpson, Aisling Sinclair, Mavromichali Szondi, Rick Forrester, Eric Paisley, Christy Grantham, Gameela Wright, and Peter Jurasik.
This talented cast is directed by the talented Saffia Widdersins, of Prim Perfect and Designing World fame. The series is written by Da5id Abbot.
From the moment the sad music starts and the panormic view of the now gone Seraph City is shown in the first episode to the very first time you glimpse main character Harlan Quinn on screen, you are drawn to the series.
With unexpected plot twists, each episode leaves you wanting to know the fate of the characters.
Season 3 of The Blackened Mirror will return later this year and is bound to be as entertaining, suspensful, and fun as the last two seasons.
