“If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work.” That Hanh [Vietnamese Buddhist Monk]
Close your eyes and imagine a private place, away from all the stress and the mundane that can be in the every day routine. Imagine that place rests nestled around a lush Banyan tree and built by an expert in design and design comfort details. If you have visited Eliza Wierwight’s Patron house and Keiki House you have a taste of her designs. You cannot walk around her grounds and homes without realizing her creations are made of love. You can feel her considerations and thoughts in all aspects, from the smallest detail to the overall feelings and views. Even the music stream is perfectly fitted for the experience. [in footnotes]
Who hasn’t had a fantasy tree house in their mind as a private getaway at some point of their life? Tree houses are the things of fantasy as we’ve seen in “Swiss Family Robinson” and “Peter Pan”. Though for most of us, tree houses are places in our imagination. Tree houses date back in history to the Middle Ages with Franciscan monks’ tree rooms for meditation. Eliza has wrapped an elegant resort around a beautiful Banyan Tree. The tree itself occupies the northeast corner of the estate flowing with greens and browns in the growth that is uniquely Banyan tree.

Hitting a new high in her creations, Eliza has brought us an estate that is both richly flowing and cozy at the same time. Arrival at Patron Banyan House Edition finds me at two large double doors. They are a majestic rich wood that convey elegance and power. These doors open to a beautiful courtyard and open air designed floor plan. The banyan tree is inside these grand doors beyond the rooms to our far right [NE corner].

On the courtyard we see one of the first of many detail touches Eliza has provided; sunbeams cascading down on a sculpture of the Winged Victory of Samothrace, also called the Nike of Samothrace. I recall seeing this at the Louvre in Paris in at the top of a stairway in grand view. This piece reveals much about Eliza’s thoughtful design. It is the perfect piece to welcome visitors. The Greek goddess Nike [Victory] is also called by some the greatest masterpiece of Hellenistic sculpture. I restrain my excitement here as I could write so much on just this elegant piece chosen to reside here at the entrance.
I have much excitement sharing with you some of the details of this magical place, truthfully I will be telling you all about what I consider the crown jewel of this design after we visit a few rooms. For her love of design, of creating delightful places to share, Eliza has created luxurious layers of rooms that are placed about to give visitors the feeling of a vast elegance as well as many places to find privacy. Whether you visit alone, in a small group, or with that special someone. There are many places you will enjoy here.

This property will give you that full immersive experience that second life can provide from the best designers. Now imagine plants around you everywhere as you walk around, not the plants you may see frequently in sl but plants with rich with details so you may recognize specific plant types. There are flowing Boston Ferns, flowering bright Hibiscus and many others. The greenery alone provides a feeling of being in that wonderful fantasy tree house in a jungle far away.

As I walk from the entry courtyard I pause at a spectacular pond with vibrant lily pads floating and a flowing waterfall over bronze at one side. I make my way to the dining room and decide to see what our designer has in store for me. I am delighted to find that the seats give me not a couple animations but almost twenty. Male/female sitting animations, male/female desk animations and some neutral ones. I confess my favorite animations for the female are Chaos and Chill. I won’t reveal Chaos you will have to visit for yourself. For the female, the chill is perfect, lying upside down on the chair with ankles crossed in a truly chill position. I had several peals of laughter looking at this one. The male chill is, well, truly male. He doesn’t end up in the same position but instead does the “guy” thing with his knees in very far apart and settled back in the chair.
The dining area is casual and large ready for small or large groups. After having a great deal of fun with the poses I went to look at the kitchen area. I knew from Patron that Eliza had a love of intricate food details. This kitchen is a dream. I suppose my favorite is the confection oven with mouth watering baked goods inside it. On the counter is a loaf of bread so freshly baked you can see the flour on its crust. The croissants in the basket are irresistible. A meal waiting to try on the stove is delectable and colorful as I look out on the ocean waters. Look in the cupboards, on the counters and you will see loving detail in every location. I try some of the quiche Lorraine on the side board next to a basket of eggs.
I walked from the kitchen back to the dining room and found a large sitting room beyond. Off this sitting room is the dining room of course, a hallway on one side, a bedroom and a walkway to the lily pad pond. The sitting room is large and inviting, an excellent place for visiting before or after a meal or to just sit around and muse. Eliza made a beautiful fireplace between this room and the bedroom with glass and fire that shimmers. For those in the mood to hot tub, there is one in a room off the bedroom. In the same room is a huge almost grotto of a shower. All of these areas feel inviting and open. The second floor pool has a very elegant feeling and the deck as well as the pool itself are both artful and functional.

There is a beautiful lagoon that lies beyond the rooms at the base of the Banyan tree. Please look at how perfect the water looks as it moves about. I felt like I could stick my toes in it and feel the wet swirling water. There is a float for one or two to bask in this outdoor beauty. There are single floats are strewn about for our enjoyment of the silent beauty.
There are more areas for sitting and visiting that the ones I have mentioned so far. The detail of the entry and other special effects abound, there are seahorses with air bubbles drifting up around them, a huge aquarium off of the modest office. To make an aquarium of this beauty requires understanding of the flow from the sandy bottom to the underwater plants to the fish and their movements.
Now I willl wrap this up with what I have called the crown jewel of this fantastic build. The crown jewel of this design is the Imagine Room. An artistic sign displaying simply “Imagine” hangs in the hallway across from the sequence of rooms I just discussed. Walking through the door you will see a room behind glass with the ‘observation area’ surrounding on three walls with personal stylish erotic art. In Eliza’s own words this room is:
“When I set about designing this home it was not only imperative to me to create more than mere rooms. My goal was to present backgrounds to the genuinely evocative, spaces that effortlessly invite us to visual hedonism, spaces that every so gently elevate beyond the pale, a visual synchronicity. It was also highly important to me that within the context of that I stood slightly aside my own inherent design style and provide a space for people to truly indulge in their own passions. Handing you the key to a room that says this is truly my own. No matter how you define that. Whether is it’s a personal Art Gallery, an Indoor theatre to indulge in films, the scent of popcorn and leather seats engaged between peals of delicious laughter. Your own ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ scening room where to quietly gasp is only the start of your journey, and Underground Nightclub just for your special crew. Name your poison. There will be modules released for the PATRON Imagine room over time as I dream, design & create them as potential options for you. In the interim. Welcome Home. Eliza Wierwight”
Her description of the Imagine room are similar to the wishes she has for her visitors all around the property, enjoy. The Imagine room takes this philosophy to a new level in sl and I can hardly wait to see what she has in store for us. Artfully Yours, Seersha Heart
