Spring Into Art Photo Contest!

At the Kultivate Spring 17 Art Show, we will have a special photo contest: The Spring Into Art Photo Contest, where you can win a share of a 3,000L’s prize pot and gift cards! Below are the rules and guidelines:

Prizes:

1. 1st place- 1500L’s, 1 double page ad in Kultivate Magazine, winning photo will be printed in Kultivate Magazine and on our website & 1 gift card
2. 2nd place – 1000L’s and photo will be printed on our website
3. 3rd place – 500L’s and photo will be printed on our website

Guidelines & Rules:

• The goal to take a photo of yourself at one of our 3D art exhibitions at the Kultivate Spring 17 Art Show. Locations of our 3D art work: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Water%20Haven/189/157/22 and http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Water%20Haven/164/72/21
• The photo must have your avatar and the 3D piece of artwork included
• All photos must be posted in the official contest Flickr Group:
  https://www.flickr.com/groups/kultivatephotochallenges/
• You are allowed 1 submission
• When posting photos please use the following naming convention: Spring Into Art Photo Contest-your sl name (do not use display names)
• All photos must include the location slurl in the description
• All photos should be new and original. You can add the photos to other Flickr groups
• Adult behavior and activities are not allowed
• Editing in Photoshop, GIMP, or in some other graphics program is ok
• You will have until April 7, 2017 1159 pm to enter the contest
• We will use the Flickr date and timestamp to determine if you met the deadline
• Remember to follow all covenants and rules when visiting sims and places that do not belong to you

Judging:

Judges will be independent of the contest and cannot enter the contest. Judges will judge your photos on the following criteria:

• Creativity
• Originality
• Technique
• Incorporation of the theme in your photos
• Following of submission and guideline rules

Deadlines:

You can enter photos from April 3, 2017 to April 7, 2017 at 1159 pm.  We will use the date and time stamps in Flickr, so check your time zones
