This How-To post will show you how to Change Opacity in Photoshop.

Step 1:
Open up Photoshop and add a few layers. Select a layer you which to change its opacity (fade in or out).

Step 2:
On top of the layer section, there is a little box labelled “Opacity”, click this and drag or increase to drop opacity or make it solid.

This should make the image fade and manipulate its opacity.
