Photographer – Fashionista! I’ve been around this crazy world for longer than I would like to admit (although looking at my profile, you’ll see exactly how long that is!!) .
I live just outside Oxford, UK and work as an Operations Manager for a large Field Marketing company and love my job! In SL, I like to keep busy working in Social Media for FaMESHEd and FaMESHed X as well as supporting my husband, John, with with all things Kultivate.
As well as the galleries (https://kultivatemagazine.com), we have two music venues – The Mad Mare & The Wild Rover – which host talented musians most weeks. I enjoy learning and creating and this applies to photography work within SL and RL also. My photoshop skills are all self taught through help from friends here and tutorials that you can find on the interweb!
When not working – in RL I am social, love movies and walking my crazy dog, Chase and taking my camera out looking for that perfect shot. In SL, in my spare time, nothing is more sacred than spending quality time with John or with my very close circle of friends – or just chillaxing quietly! I am an active Real Life Artist. I have my Masters of Fine Art from Wilfrid Laurier University. I hang at Tag Art Gallery in St. Catharines Ontario Canada. I’m a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. IRL I paint mostly commissioned works and murals as well as do sculpture out of soap stone and metal welding.
In SL, I’ve won two Grants from Linden Endowment for the Arts and from Second Life Endowment for the Arts. I actively help new RL artists in SL to negotiate their way through how to exhibit and market their work and I actively participate in donating works to SL and RL charitable organizations for auction.
My main technique is to work either en plein air or in my studio from photos. For abstract, I still use photos to re-inspire the mood and feeling of the experience. When I use a photo, for the most part it is one I’ve taken or have been given by a commissioned client. Occasionally I’ll also purchase stock photos if they fall within the theme of my work and inspire me. I work in acrylic, oil, watercolour, graphite, photography and digital art and my genres are Abstract Expressionism and Realism. I am an established RL artist of over 40 years. I’m a proud member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and my work hangs in galleries in Ontario Canada. No, I do not give out my personal real life private information. I’ve been drawing since I could hold a crayon. I studied art throughout school, Commercial Art in high school and Graphic Design at Tyler School of Art/Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. . After the turn of the century, I decided to focus my creativity on acrylic and digital painting and have totally enjoyed the journey.
Known in SL since 2009 as JudiLynn India and RL as Judi Lynn, my mission is to share my vision and message as an artist with the global community. My work embodies my spirit and personality. My goal is to allow you to experience the image with your own mind’s eye. My work is entirely intuitive. I get lost in the layering of texture and color. Occasionally, I will include figurative work if my spirit is so presented with the composition. Just as there is order in the chaos of the universe, the energy within me is brought into focus one canvas at a time.

Beginning to exhibit as a 2D and 3D Artist in SL just this year though I have done various forms of Art and Crafts for many years in RL and have an Art degree.
In my SL 2D Art I strive for ‘painterly realism’ and have a passion for capturing the elusive light and life in a scene, which brings a unique atmosphere. I bring my real life training as an artist to my aesthetic sensibility in the images I create in SL. When I get the chance I also enjoy opportunities to do 3D art using tortured prims.

I joined Second Life in 2007, and back then I never realized how much this would mean to me. Back then I had just started painting with acrylics after a very long break where I raised my children and looked after my family and my work.
Today I have been painting several hundred paintings since then and I still get a lot of inspiration from nature, second Life and northern islands such as Faroe Islands and Iceland.
In SL I started taking photos already in 2008, and has developed my style ever since. All this brings me to where I am today and I hope you will enjoy my pictures.

DimiVan Ludwig, known as Dimi by his friends, is a long time Second Life and Real Life photographer. Most know Dimi as an acoustic musician, but when he isn’t performing, he can often be found snapping photos. He calls himself a novice, but those who have seen his photographs would say otherwise. He frames his shots with the final product in mind, editing very little in post production. He uses his Nikon d3500 to shoot real life landscapes. In Second Life, he prefers to snap portraits utilizing the features provided by LUMIPro.
