Kultivate’s Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, Jessi is back with another SL Etiquette 101. This time she discusses politics in Second Life:
The 2016 election was quite polarizing in America. Whether you are a democrat or a republican, you may have found yourself drawn into the political debate in real life, on social media, and in Second Life. I conducted a poll back in February to gauge the mood of Second Lifers, to see if they felt politics should be talked about in Second Life.

We all love Christmas Cards in real life, at least I do! In Second Life it is common to receive Christmas Cards in many forms. From textures to notecards to even interactive object type cards! You will soon find your inventory is overflowing with the cards and of course you may wish to reciprocate and send your own card. Kultivate Marketing and Social Media Coordinator Jessii Warrhol is back with another edition of SL Etiquette 101! This time she discusses how to date in Second Life, with a focus on communication:
Most of us would love a partner or even a spouse in Second Life! Of course this may be just as hard to find as it can be in real life. I have had my share of partners and even married twice in Second Life, before giving up dating and marriage in Second Life all together (due to getting married in real life and not really spending the same amount of time as I once did in Second Life).
I have decided to make this a 3 part series and will focus on communication, appearance, and dating. For this first part I decided to start with communication.

Welcome to another helping of SL Etiquette 101! In this edition, I will discuss how to handle gossiping and rumors from both sides of the equation…
“Gossip Folks” by Missy Elliot:
Imagine that you are logging into Second Life from a very long day at work, you are looking forward to spending time with your friends or just relaxing in world. Once you log in, you notice several off lines and two notecards listed as urgent in your inventory. You open up the notecards and see that someone has started a nasty rumor about you. You next read the flashing ims and also find out that someone you trusted, has started to gossip about you to others. What do you do?
